Caught in the Middle

Author and award-winning foreign correspondent Richard Longworth joins host Ben Kieffer to examine rural America's fight to stay viable in the new global economy. Longworth is leading a panel discussion at Wartburg College next week looking at regional economic issues. His book 'Caught in the Middle: America's Heartland in the Age of Globalism' laments middle Ameria's failure to extricate itself from dying traditions and outmoded institutions.
